I.                    MAIN MENU

The main menu screen provides easy access to all the primary forms and options of the program. The left box on the main menu contains owner information and can be changed by going to Utilities -> Change owner information.

a.       Button Functions

CHILD SUPPORT

·         Start a new case: Opens a blank child support form.

·         View an existing case: Loads the child support form for the cased selected in the corresponding drop down list.

FINANCIAL

·         Start a new financial statement: Opens a blank financial statement form (DOM REL 30 and DOM REL 31).

·         View an existing financial statement: Loads the financial statement for the statement selected in the corresponding drop down list.

UTILITY

·         Utilities: Opens a page where the user can delete a child support case, delete a financial statement, change ownership information (the left box on the main menu screen), or enable/disable tooltips.

·         Exit program: Closes the program.

II.                  CHILD SUPPORT

The Child Support form allows you to create a Child Support Guidelines Worksheet and calculate a recommended child support payment amount.

a.       Button Functions

·          Saves and refreshes the data

·          Saves the form's data and exits to the Main Menu.

·          Opens a print preview of the recommendation report for the child support case.

·          Undoes all changes made to the form made during the session and exits to the Main Menu.

b.      Required Fields

In the Child Support form, some fields are required to save the form and some are required to calculate a recommended child support payment amount.

The following fields are required to save the form are marked by two asterisks (**):

·         Mother’s First Name

·         Mother’s Last Name

·         Father’s First Name

·         Father’s Last Name

 

The following fields are required to calculate a recommended payment amount and are marked by a single asterisk (*):

 

·         Plaintiff

·         Defendant

·         Number of Children

·         Gross Monthly Income

·         Overnights with each parent

·         Printed Signature

·         Report Date

III.                FINANCIAL STATEMENT FORM

The Financial Statement form allows you to create a short (DOM REL 30) and/or long (DOM REL 31) form financial statement. The forms are split up over two pages. The first page includes general information that is shared between both of the statements, as well as information specific to the short form financial statement. Page two contains information that is specific to the long form financial statement.

 

a.       Button Functions

·                      Saves and refreshes the data

·                      Saves the form's data and exits to the Main Menu.

·                      Undoes all changes made to the form made during the session and exits to the Main Menu.

·                      Opens a print preview of the long (DOM REL 31) form financial statement.

·                      Opens a print preview of the short (DOM REL 30) form financial statement.

·                      Opens Page 2 of the financial statement form, which contains information related to the long form.

·                      Opens Page 1 of the financial statement form, which contains information related to both forms.

b.      Page 1  (Shared General Information & Short Form Information)

The first page contains information that is shared between the short and long form financial statements. The short form information only needs to be filled out if the short form financial statement needs to be completed.

The following fields are required to save the form are marked by two asterisks (**):

 

·         First Name

·         Last Name

 

 

c.       Page 2 (Long Form Information)

The second page contains information specific to the long form financial statement. The long form information only needs to be filled out if the long form financial statement needs to be completed. The long form financial statement information is divided over seven tabs: EXPENSES (A), EXPENSES (B), EXPENSES (C-E), EXPENSES (F-G), EXPENSES (H-K), EXPENSES (L), INCOME/ASSETS/LIABILITIES.

IV.                UTILITIES

The Utilities menu provides you with the options to change ownership information (the box displayed on the left hand side of the Main Menu), delete child support cases, delete financial statements, and enable/disable tooltips.

 

You can navigate to the deletion pages by pressing the delete a child support case or delete a financial statement button. Please note that once a case or statement is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.

 

To disable or enable the tooltips displayed when a new form or report is opened, check/uncheck the Enable Tooltips box.
